You are working harder than the students
You are doing too much direct instruction
You have too little time in class to do hands-on, interactive activities
You want to shift class to student-centered instead of teacher-centered
You are overwhelmed or not confident with teaching the content
You want the same instruction for all students
You are looking for a way to catch up students who are absent
You want more freedom and flexibility in the classroom
You want to give students the some ability to control the pace they learn the material
By flipping your classroom, you will have the freedom and flexibility to assist your students in class when they need you most.
Flipping your classroom will transform your classroom from being focused on you the teacher to become student-centered.
With less direct instruction, you free up time in class to immerse students in science labs, activities, and experiments.
When I flipped my Anatomy classroom 7 years ago, I really didn't know how much it would benefit my students as much as it did. It took the focus off of me and placed it on my students. Students loved the fact they could have 24/7 access to the content and could watch at their own pace. I can say it was such a relief to have more time for hands-on learning experiences and less time with face-to-face direct instruction. I would love for you to experience the freedom and flexibility to become a facilitator of your students' learning.
Join me and countless other teachers who have changed their classrooms from teacher-centered to student-driven by flipping their lessons.
